Born on the Shetland island of, you guessed it, Fair Isle, in northern Scotland, this special knitting technique has since gained fans in everyone from après-skiers to holiday-party attendees. This version of the classic style is knit from cashmere yarn with a tweed-like feel for a donegal effect.
